wow. i’ve got to be honest, i don’t think i expected to have this much fun on the trip. the farley-butcher crew was awesome. we stayed out late every night and danced… yeah i said danced. if i can find some video of me shaking it, i’ll post it in the slideshow blog post of this wedding. anyways back on topic. i really want to thank the families for inviting me to come along and the bridal party for making me feel welcome. i really believe i made some great friends on the trip. everything about this trip said to me that God was smiling on this marraige. it rained the whole trip except the hours of the wedding, when everything was perfect and beautiful. it was really cool to be able to hang out with the entire group three days before the wedding actually happened. by the time the wedding came around, we already shared 8 meals, 3 line dances, a couple of booty dances and a drink or two. man, i really miss them already.
party number 1 * look at me! i’m on tv. woooooooo!!! spring break 2009!!!

party 1.5 * grinding with the family

the suites on the boat were awesome, they had balconies over looking the ocean… almost as breath taking as the dress.

chris robinson * best man and life of the party

bob farley * watching as the rain tried to make a come back on the day of the wedding, but like i said before it held off.

the groom, michael, waiting in the lobby of the boat. let’s take a guess what we were waiting on?

mama butcher acting seasick.

going over the vows.

in the limo, on the way to the resort where the ceremony was. ummmm… you are only seeing 20% of the people in the car.

a little preceremony camera lovin’

all the details were so beautiful and simple. the resort really did a great job.

my new friend tina, with our d300 in hand, grabbed this beautiful shot as the bride was escorted down the most tranquil aisle i’ll ever see. looking at this picture makes me wonder why i didn’t just come home to pack up somethings with allie and grow old with her living off that pier.

i’m not sure if this is southern expression or not… but bob and heather, and the whole gang when i think about it, are just good people. it makes me happy to see good people happy. it was such a gift to be there.

oops. the best man forgot the rings. thank God they were just on the shore end of the pier. still worth a good laugh.

here’s another view of the pier. hmmm. looks like this might be my new desktop background.

bow chicka wow wow!

mr and mrs michael butcher.

so many amazing places to photograph. i’m in love with the 50mm f1.4G and silver efex pro.

what a beautiful couple!

michael? what did you say right here?

oops. my bad. i got them to pose in this really cool location (the picture above) and a wave came. again, these people were so cool and in love that they just laughed it off.

after showing heather the back of the camera after shooting the next few pictures, she gave me a big hug and said “i’ve never felt more beautiful in my entire life.” what a wonderful compliment, but she made it easy. wow.

seeing that the groom as already a little wet, let’s take a minute to cool our feet down in the pool.

one of my favorites of heather. it shows her and the pier and it just frikkin’ rochs… yeah i spelled that “roch.” there was a couple on the trip with us named donald and kryss roch, and they are lawyers, and they are awesome! case closed.

sir william, knight of the ring bearers.

william is heather nephew, the son of her sister (maid of honor) laurel. again, i don’t want to over use the word awesome, but they too were awesome.

a little kiss before returning on board. did you know it is hard to get into an “r” rated movie than it is to get in and out of the bahamas (immigration).

bob. i’ve always enjoyed working for you in theatre, and again thank you for letting me be part of your family’s wonderful celebration of michael and heather.

this is about a still as anita was on the dance floor. i had a hard time keeping up with her. she was grooving.

this is just a fun picture showing you that i didn’t just work, i did have a great time. what up chattanooga!

thanks again a million times over farley-butcher crew. i miss you guys already and i can’t wait for the 1 year anniversary cruise. ;) stay tuned for the slideshow, with some video post coming over the next few days. God bless and congrats to heather + michael. it’s 3am. i’m going to sleep.
chris + allie.

Great job, Chris! The bride was beautiful and you captured some great moments for them. I’m sure they are thrilled that you were the photographer they chose, especially after they see their pictures.
These are wonderful! Y’all should have your own tv show on the travel channel or..something where they follow you on different destination weddings and see the awesome personalities you have and then show your pictures at the end of the event. Seriously. I am not playin. Do it! Y’all are so great at what y’all do.
Thank you so much for everything, I know Heather and Michael are going to love these pictures.
These are so amazing! Have I told you a million times how happy I am that you were there? We miss you already. Bring Allie on the 1 year cruise and we will tear down the house . . . or boat, I guess.
Wow, how fun & beautiful! That certainly is a compliment to hear what the bride told you.
I like scooby snacks too
Pictures are gorgeous…amazing job!!!!
You are astonishing! What a great talent you have. Like it or not your are now an important part of the Farley Extended Family. Just ask Richard what that’s all about. Thank you for going so very, very far beyond anything that we ever expected. Can’t wait for the 4th of July Party. I need to meet Allie!
You look like you had a blast on this one, what a great location! I wanted to see more
I loved that album–it “rochs” as you put it. nice work!
