nicole + dustin * mr. + mrs.

 

nicole + dustin’s wedding was a photographer’s dream – a gorgeous venue with tons of places to shoot, an amazing bridal party who made us feel like old friends, and a bride + groom who were so easy-going and in love that it was impossible to NOT get shots that just plain rock.

 

 

we got to the venue, neverland farms, in cleveland, georgia and were blown away by how beautiful it was.  we worked with suzy and nora, but the whole staff was so inviting and friendly.  we stepped into the cabin where nicole and her bridesmaids were and bluegrass music was playing.  nicole was too flippin’ cute and excited about the day, but nervous because everyone would be looking at her.  someone would later tell her, “it’s the wrong day to be nervous about that!”  :)

 

as soon as her parents got there with the dress, we took it on it’s own photo shoot around the cabin

 

nicole’s mom helped her with the dress and calmed her nerves at the same time.

neverland farms provides a carriage for the bride to ride from the cabin to the ceremony in style!  before nicole and the girls hopped in, they stopped for a quick prayer with nicole’s mom and were off to the ceremony!

nicole + dustin wanted a group shot of all their guests, so we gathered them in the barn right after the ceremony and chris snapped this shot from the loft.

 

capturing moments like this makes us smile. really big.  :)

 

i’m sure you remember seth + leia… they’re probably the cutest ever!

 

the first dance.  once again everyone was looking at them, which nicole DID NOT want.  such a cute photo of her hiding.

 

 

 

we stole them away from the reception for a few minutes to get some more shots…

 

 

 

 

 

 

we knew nicole + dustin were awesome, so it shouldn’t have surprised us at how natural and fun the day was.  some of the reasons we loved this wedding:

 

* the suggins brothers - this bluegrass band played during the ceremony and at the reception.  the guys were so nice and they honestly played really, really great music.

* the kids: there were SO many!  but they were all ridiculously cute and photogenic.

* the bare feet: everyone in the bridal party had bare feet at nicole’s request

* the ice cream: who doesn’t love ice cream?  especially on a warm summer night?  it was the perfect compliment to the wedding cake!

* the bride + groom: nicole + dustin are in love, plain and simple, and there’s nothing more beautiful than that.
