The Reason – Chris and Allie are truly unbelievable to work with and such talented photographers!  My husband and I had the pleasure of working with them for our wedding and words can’t describe how pleased we were with their work. The pictures were AMAZING and they were so incredibly easy to work with yet very professional. I really think it is important that you can relate to your photographers for your wedding and that they can understand the pictures and memories that you want them to capture. And Chris and Allie sure did for us! They are there for some of your most intimate moments so if you don’t feel comfortable with them…it can be extremely awkward and they could miss those special moments that will mean the world to you. We would also highly recommend using them for your videographer too.  Our video was so special to us because it caught memories that we will be able to cherish forever. You will not regret it if you choose The Reason to share in this exciting time with you!

“Working with The Reason was incredible! Our first meeting let my fiance and I know that we were in excellent hands. Not only were the albums they had to show fantastic, and we knew they had a great eye for design and beautiful art, BUT we knew that Chris + Allie would be fun! I felt that it was really important to be comfortable with our photographer. I don’t feel that I am a particularly photogenic person and traditionally hate having my picture taken; however, I also knew that these were important moments that I wanted to document, so I needed someone who would make us both feel relaxed in front of the camera. I knew within minutes that Chris + Allie would definitely keep us laughing and help us relax. We met up at an awesome restaurant (Flip Burger) which immediately let me see that they were fun, adventurous people, who loved to have a good time. We both felt really confident after our meeting that Chris + Allie would be a great fit for us. Our engagement session proved to us that we were right! We had about an hour drive together and we all laughed the whole time. When it was time to start the session, Chris + Allie just jumped right in and we quickly relaxed. We continued to laugh throughout the session as we misunderstood Chris’s directions in his Dutch accent! (He doesn’t have an accent on purpose, he was simply being silly.) It was a great session that yielded hundreds of awesome photographs that we will always treasure!

“The tag team effect that the reason has to offer at the wedding is awesome! If you want separate photos of the bride and groom before the wedding, getting ready, etc. you can’t beat having Chris to hang with the guys and Allie to capture all the girly moments. It also allows them to get great pictures during the ceremony without being obtrusive. At our wedding, Chris stayed up at the front and Allie shot from the back of the chapel. Both got great shots and we have favorites from both, but it could have been distracting if only one of them had moved throughout the chapel. And obviously as a married couple, Chris + Allie make an awesome team! They work so well together and accomplish so much, so quickly! And everyone at the reception loved them!”

“Working with The Reason was excellent! I think Greg and I would both agree that it felt like we were working with some of our friends! When we first spoke with Chris + Allie, we instantly hit it off and felt natural! They were more than willing to work with us and definitely understood what kind of pictures we were looking for. “It was a lot of fun having them at our wedding! They definitely went along with the flow. Everyone who interacted with them thought they were awesome and hilarious. I loved that they were just in the middle of it all, making sure they got great pics and worked as a team to do so.

“Besides the actual photos and our album, I would have to say the thing that blew us away was when we were walking out of the building and all of the guests had sparklers in their hands; We look up in the trees and there is Chris hanging like a monkey! The pictures are amazing, every single wedding that they have taken pictures at, I’ve checked them out. They are never the same and you guys truly capture the emotions of the event. We were looking for a fun photographer that we got along with, and we certainly got a great couple to work with.”

“Chris + Allie are one of a kind photographers. I met them in January and loved their work. My mom booked them as a surprise for me. As it turns out, booking The Reason was the best decision we made for our wedding. Long story short – our video camera did not shoot our special day as planned, so all we have are pictures to remember our wedding day. They captured every aspect of the wedding in a way that I never thought possible. I too, like many other people, pick apart pictures of myself; but i have not seen one picture they took of me or my husband that was not beautiful.
