I, Chris, am starting a little personal project for the next year.  I’ve been hunting for fun little cameras all over ebay, flea markets, antique stores and anyone who let’s me in their attic.  So I figured I’d share some of my favorite treasures every week.  The first one to kick off the new year is the Minolta Hi-Matic AF2.  What a great camera!  The autofocus is quite good and really fast, and I love that you can set the ISO/ASA manually, making it easy to overexpose the film.  The colors come out pretty good, but the scans are easily turned into something magical with a few adjustments in Photoshop.  Also, it takes 2 AA batteries, and the built in flash is great to have.  Found this one on eBay for $12 (truth be told, I bought 2, they really are fantastic).  The self portrait shows me holding the camera.
