a new chapter

we decided to plant a tree in our front yard for the 5 years we’ve been together and the new addition to our family this year. chris also pointed out that the 5 year wedding present is wood – so it’s very fitting!

we went to look at some different trees and decided on the weeping cherry tree. here’s some photos of chris planting it with our rose bushes.

we’re so excited for what’s to come in the next 5 years, and can’t wait to watch the tree grow with us.

5 years!

5 years ago today i married my best friend.

we’ve learned things about each other along the way and have grown together.

since that day we’ve been through different jobs and different homes, have started a business together, and are adding one more to our family!

it’s been the most amazing journey, and i wouldn’t want to share it with anyone else.
