we’ve known keri for a long time. her brother jered is one of chris’ best friends! we had a great time shooting around marietta square and then enjoying some awesome pizza after!
their wedding will be one of the first we’ll shoot after hank gets here – can’t wait!
keri + blake: had a blast with you two, the wedding will be here before you know it!

when we met with ruth + andy for the first time it was such an easy conversation because we had so much in common. their engagement session was a breeze and tons of fun – they were naturals in front of the camera.

i love love.

we found this makeshift field in an empty lot on the way to our next stop, so glad we did.

makin’ out in the tall grass, oh yeah!

chris arranged for us to shoot in a friend’s studio since we knew andy would love it. i’m pretty sure he did.

they’re too cute.

ruth + andy: we had a blast with you guys. sorry you couldn’t enjoy the awesome bbq dinner, but i’m glad you got to enjoy setting up christmas with the fam. can’t wait for the wedding!

welcome to the last wedding of the reason’s first season. that has a nice little ring to it.
we’ve gotten to know brittney + anthony really well over the past few months since they booked with us. we shot their super cute engagement session, got to know brittney’s bridesmaids through another session, and kept up with them through facebook and email. so it was such a great wedding to end the season with.
they got married at the marietta country club on an absolutely beautiful day at the most perfect time of day. it couldn’t have been any better.
here’s a few details of brittney’s dress.

brittney is such a joy to be around, and her smile is so contagious!

we love brittney’s bridesmaids!

love anthony’s sense of humor.

the emotions were running high on their wedding day. this photo of grandma after she sees brittney in her dress is so precious.

and this photo of anthony getting ready to walk down the aisle is so powerful.

you can just feel the love

did i mention they picked the best time of day for the ceremony? seriously.

mr. + mrs. howard!

they were so happy to be married! love this:

during the reception the dj announced the next song was dedicated to chris + i. brittney (along with one of our other brides, scarlett) had found out the song that we had our first dance to at our wedding and played it for us. how crazy awesome is that? i almost cried.

the day, the people, the details… everything fit together perfectly. and the reception was definitely a party.

my favorite part: anthony brought some of his ridiculous (in a good way) dance moves to the floor. he surprised everyone by dancing to mc hammer (“can’t touch this”).
it. was. amazing.

brittney + anthony: thank you so much for allowing us to photograph your perfect day. we’re so glad you two found each other.

we actually had brittney + anthony on our calendar longer than most of our 2009 weddings, but their gorgeous wedding ended our very first season as the reason! we can’t wait to tell you more about the details of the day, but for now sit back and watch the slideshow… and try not to cry!
God bless you.
chris + allie.
meet cate and brandon. i got to pick the color of the tie. he had a green and blue one, but hopefully i did good by picking the one that matched cate’s dress. i think it looks awesome. sorry to all my theatre friends for interrupting your smoking session and kicking you out of the court yard so i can get these pics. it was worth your sacrifice.

what a great looking couple.

hey, it’s allie. i had to throw in a comment about cate’s shoes, they’re probably the cutest ever.

brandon was in town interviewing for a job with a rail road company, which i found out afterwards. kind of cool we took a few train related photos.

yowza!

simply love this sequence of shots.

bam. hot. wow.

i told them if they embarrass themselves with a little dancing, i would sing and be there dance music. i sang “sweet dreams.”

work. it.

at the beginning of the session they wouldn’t tell about this surprise prop they had prepared. they were afraid i wouldn’t like it. they were right. i loved it.

a long time ago, i worked on a very bad film called “fate.” the producer of the movie owns a carnival company, and i got his permission to shoot some of our engagement session where his carnival is currently parked.

it simply was a dream to shoot.

okay. i took like a million photos on the merry-go-round. i hope cate and brandon had fun, because this thing was spinning around at close to light speed. here are a few of the shots that turned out.

brandon did really good with the ring. that thing sparkled even close to the end of sunset. the ride on the bottom right sadly couldn’t be enjoyed by them as the fine print said “you must be this tall….. or shorter to ride this ride.”

seeing that they got the all access-all rides pass, we took a few more on some of the other rides. i felt kind of bad, as i got motion sickness just watching them on the himalaya ride.

some more of the ice.

we busted out the flash for a few once it got dark.

there is something really cool about this shot.

spoiler alert… cate just got cotton candy for cute photos. she really doesn’t like it too much. i do… and i did.

who needs a 6 foot plush panda when you got your best friend and love beside you.

you win.

chris + allie.
