Kate + Tim win for sweetest moment during a ceremony – while his brother was singing Love Never Fails by Brandon Heath, they started dancing at the altar. Love it! The rest of the day was stunning as well, and all props go to Kate for being an amazing planner/bride!

it was raining all day at brasstown valley resort where charlotte + nathan got married, but it made for such a romantic wedding (complete with a fire during the ceremony). the bride was gorgeous and the groom was glowing. plus, the party couldn’t have been any better afterwards (although it was hard to sit through tons of georgia tech cheers). ;)

we had the pleasure to shoot tiffany + amar’s indian wedding a few months ago, as well as tiffany’s mehndi party. they were both so beautiful, so you can imagine how excited we were to shoot their wedding! we met tiffany at emily + adam’s wedding. she was the makeup artist. since then, she’s helped us out at several photo shoots. check out her work here at mirror mirror makeup! she’s awesome.
amar is equally as awesome. such a great, genuine guy. you can tell he loves tiffany so much.

the wedding was at four oaks manor. this place was so comfy, the perfect place for an intimate wedding. wait til you see more of the details. all of the photos you see on this post were shot on the property/backyard.

tiffany + amar didn’t just say their vows at the ceremony, they each shared who was most special to them and how they met and got to know each other. it was really unique and intimate.

they also had a polaroid photobooth with fun props. they used the polaroids as a guestbook. the kids had lots of games and toys to play with.
it keeps getting better… they also had dance lessons for the guests! one of the bridesmaids taught everyone some dance moves. such an awesome idea!

tiffany stone is one of the wonderful makeup artists we work with. both she and her work are stunning. and check this out… she gets to be a bride twice! first – in august – was her indian wedding. her fiance’s family wanted the couple to have an indian wedding. her other wedding will be in october. anyways, here are a few shots from her “mehndi party.” web definition of mehndi party is “the party where the bride gets adorned with intricate henna designs.” did i mention the food was amazing?

howdy folks.
can you believe i’m blogging from the ocean? the ship is great, but the weather has been terrible. seriously, it hasn’t stopped raining since we got on the boat. so, i’m sad to say no cool outdoor sunrise/sunset shots.
yesterday we left cape canaveral at 4:30pm and headed out to the private island owned by royal caribbean. even though it was raining, i could barely feel the ship move. this morning is a different story. maybe it’s the 2 mimosas and bloody marys i had at BINGO this morning, but man… as i’m typing, my world is going up and down. don’t worry, i’m not going to hurl on my laptop. anyways, i’m having a great time but i’m missing my wife like crazy. the wedding party is super fun, and last night i got to split my time between the bachelorette and bachelor party, but then again, they kind of merged at the end of the night seeing that we were all on one ship. we finally got kicked out of the hot tub at 2am, and most of us went back to the dance club till 3:45am. okay, I’ll shut up. picture time!

well that’s it so far, and I’m not sure what kind of pictures I’ll get today. the weather was too bad for us to get on the private island, so we are going ahead and sailing to Nassau today. we are now going to go to the private island on thursday, so maybe I can convince the bride to put her dress back on then and get a little “day after” session on the beach. hopefully. the wedding is tomorrow so there will be plenty of stuff then, but today is kind of a low key, nothing much going on kind of day… scratch that, i just saw the sun for the first time in 2 days! woohoo!

If you haven’t noticed, we’re in Vegas. :) We’re here for the WPPI convention… rockin’ our cameras at the Neon Graveyard and other cool places, hanging out with our photographer friends, and having the time of our lives. One of things we were most excited about coming for was the [b] school party. Not only did we get to meet great photographers we’ve been talking to online, we also got to meet some of the best wedding photographers in the world… as well as photographers who we admire, have challenged us to be the best we could, and have offered priceless advice to those who are just starting out in this business. More on that to come, but for now here’s a video of the party which was held in the Real World Suite at the Palms! Sweet!
