when we met bryan + bethany we found out they were photographers as well. Since then we’ve been bowling, had last-minute meetups at morelli’s, gone to the lake, and have become great friends. we’re so excited to be shooting their wedding in november.

we absolutely love shooting engagements and weddings with “real” people. it’s what we do.
every once in a while, however, we think it’s important to get our creative juices flowing. so we set up a shoot for a group of atlanta photographers with models, a makeup artist, and awesome locations. not only do we have a blast meeting and shooting with other photographers, but it also inspires us to think out of the box and try new things. here’s some shots from the day.
we stopped by our favorite place to watch movies during the summer (2 for the price of 1!), starlight six drivein. they’re awesome about letting us roam the lots!
you know what else was awesome? the models we snagged. michele, angela, and chad froze their booties off for us and still managed to look amazing!
i’ve always wanted to get photos like the two below. chad was an awesome smoker. is that bad to say?
next stop, the atlanta prison farm. you’ve seen us shoot (and video) there before. it recently got vandalized by fire, but we still found some awesome places to shoot.

ok. we notice it’s been a while since a blog post, so we wanted to throw one up real quick since it’s the beginning of a new month. where did october come from, though? really!? this year has blown by. speaking of october… this month is going to be crazy busy for us! great for us, not so good for our blog readers. but we’re going to do the best we can to keep you entertained. keep reading for some thoughts and awesome things coming your way.
the [b] school is 1!
a year ago, chris and i decided to sign up for the [b] school as private school members. if you’re a photographer and don’t know anything about the [b] school and/or becker and what he’s doing for folks like us, you should! i highly suggest you visit the link above and check it out. we knew when we signed up that it would be a different way of networking with photographers. what we didn’t know was how many awesome people we would actually become friends with and how much we would be able to learn from them!
in march we went to our first wppi convention. we were able to connect and hang out with friends we had met in the [b] school, as well as meet some of the greats in our industry.
in july, we were featured members.
we’re excited to be a part of the [b] school and can’t wait to see all new things that will for sure keep coming out of it!

absolutely stunning.
since we couldn’t go a day without a photo shoot in vegas, valen helped us out. you’ll see more of her tomorrow in another post as well. we drove about three minutes to this awesome road that led to the mountains and got a few shots of her. photographers : there was NO pro retouch done on these photos whatsoever! talk about beautiful! well, we’ll just show you instead.
