Kate + Tim win for sweetest moment during a ceremony – while his brother was singing Love Never Fails by Brandon Heath, they started dancing at the altar. Love it! The rest of the day was stunning as well, and all props go to Kate for being an amazing planner/bride!
it was so awesome to get out of atlanta and travel to charleston for heather + tim’s wedding. it’s such an awesome place! unfortunately, it was a busy weekend for us and we were only there for one night. we got in on friday (late), woke up early saturday to do some exploring (about 30 minutes worth downtown), and then jumped in the car right after the wedding to head back to atlanta for another wedding on sunday! we’ll definitely be heading back to charleston to do some more exploring though.
the colors heather chose for the wedding was awesome. here’s some detail shots. the guestbook that’s shown a few photos down was designed by heather with their engagement photos. instead of having the guests simply sign their names, she asked a question on each page that they had to answer – very cool!

heather + tim decided to see each other before the ceremony, so we stole them away from all the craziness and went down to a dock near the water.

heather + tim: congrats! thank you so much for bringing us to charleston to shoot your precious wedding (and for the amazing gift basket with charleston goodies we got in the mail)! we had so much fun. we’ll be visiting again soon!

wow. charleston, sc has to be one of the most beautiful places we’ve seen in awhile, although driving there is much more confusing than atlanta. i know that sounds impossible, but it is. anyways… we are super pumped for heather + tim, and here is a little sneak peek slideshow for ya.

remember the old prison farm we found close to our house? heather + tim saw our post on it and said they HAD to do their engagement photos there because tim works at a prison and well, it would just be awesome! so we were excited to do it! they also drove down from south carolina to shoot there!

they brought their doggies along – so cute!
we had the chance to have lunch and get to know heather + tim before the shoot. we can’t wait to shoot their wedding!
